Crime scene investigations have many components and skills people need in order to investigate crime scenes effectively. One skill needed is the knowledge of drawing a crime scene sketch. Having a sketch of the crime scene allows detectives and other workers investigating to be able to see the crime scene without actually being there. This is an important skill in biomedical sciences because it is a very important component in figuring out how or why someone died. Having knowledge of how to investigate a crime scene can allows investigators to have a detailed look at the crime scene without having to keep the crime scene preserved and allows people to share the information throughout departments.
